
My name is Ali Deniz Özkan, and I’m the author of For A Better Monday. I’ve been living the fasting lifestyle since 2016—and it completely changed my life.
Fasting helped me overcome chronic physical health issues I once thought were permanent. But the transformation didn’t stop there. It gave me mental clarity, spiritual grounding, and the space to rethink how I live and what I value.
Over the years, I’ve completed everything from 18/6 intermittent fasts to 10-day dry fasts, testing a variety of fasting patterns to challenge my body and mind in new ways. My journey wasn’t guided by trends—but by deep personal curiosity and a desire to heal.
Our Mission
In 2024, I created Better Monday Fasting™ to share this wisdom with others through coaching, online classes, and fasting education. This brand is the home of the “why” and “how” behind fasting—while my second brand, YouthLyte, provides high-quality electrolyte support for those practicing it.
Whether you’re fasting to improve your energy, heal your body, gain clarity, or confront something deeper, I’m here to guide you. My approach is holistic and grounded in lived experience. I don’t offer one-size-fits-all plans—I help you build your own.
